Within the ERASMUS programme, Istanbul Aydın University has Erasmus+ bilateral agreements with 266 universities from 49 countries, 28 of which are European countries. In this context, in addition to hosting many students from abroad, it also offers many students the opportunity to study abroad. Istanbul Aydın University provides uninterrupted service to its students with foreign language, food and computer laboratories equipped with the awareness that scientific research and development is possible with superior technology and the principle of ‘Technological University’.

In addition, our university offers a practical engineering education service at Prof. Dr. Aziz Sancar Technology Centre, one of the most distinguished multidisciplinary university technology centres in Turkey.

Istanbul Aydın University has been awarded the ECTS Label and Diploma Supplement Label (DS Label), which are awarded by the European Commission to higher education institutions that correctly implement the European Credit Transfer System in all associate, undergraduate and graduate programmes after a rigorous examination, increasing the prestige and quality of the institution.

Istanbul Aydın University gives diploma Octet to all its students who graduate. Diploma Supplement (DE) is a way to provide academic and professional recognition on an international platform (diploma, degree, certificate, etc. Oct.) is a complementary document issued in October in addition to the higher education diplomas of the students. The content of the DE has been carried out by the European Commission and UNESCO/CEPES. Thanks to this, the education and work opportunities of Istanbul Aydın University graduates in the European Union (EU) countries are increasing every day.

In addition, the Association for Evaluation and Accreditation of Engineering Educational Programs (MÜDEK) applies MÜDEK criteria in engineering faculties in order to train engineers with a higher level of qualification in developing technology by conducting accreditation, evaluation and information studies for engineering educational and training programs in different disciplines.

Association for Evaluation and Accreditation of Educational Programs of the Faculties of Science, Literature, Science-Literature, Language and History-Geography, FEDEK Accreditation evaluation and information studies are carried out in the programs included in the Faculty of Science and Letters in order to improve the quality of education and raise more qualified individuals at the national and international levels.

The EPDAD criteria determined by the Association for Evaluation and Accreditation of Educational Programs of the Faculties of Education are applied in order to raise the quality of the faculties of education and to train more qualified teachers at the national and international level.

SABAK criteria are applied at the Faculty of Health Sciences in order to improve the quality of health science education in Turkey by conducting accreditation evaluation and information studies for health science education programs in different disciplines.

Istanbul Aydın University Faculty of Dentistry is a member of the European Dental Education Association (ADEE) and has been entitled to receive a certificate since 2018. Our students receive education in accordance with the dental education standards of the European Union countries.

In addition, the faculty hospital accredited by the Joint Commission International (JCI), the most prestigious accreditation of the world, "Istanbul Aydın University Faculty of Dentistry Hospital" has been accepted.

Istanbul Aydın University eliminates the "inexperience" factor, which is a disadvantage in job searches, by preparing its students for business life with an on-site application system. One of the Incubation Centers located within the structure of Istanbul Aydın University;

Incubation Istanbul - IAU Entrepreneurship and Incubation Center provides training, mentoring, academic counseling, office and laboratory support to entrepreneurs with innovative ideas. In the Incubation Center, where studies have been carried out on the development and acceleration of dozens of entrepreneurial projects over the past year, the incubated venture ideas are implemented over time.

In accordance with the indigenization and nationalization policy in the healthcare sector of Turkey, BioCube Istanbul will support "startup" enterprise, R&D and innovation projects that will be developed Dec. (supported) BioCube Istanbul is expected to strengthen the health sector, which has been the rising value of the economy in recent periods, and accordingly increase the share of Turkey's health tourism.

 TTC Chicago, Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey (TUBITAK) Marmara Teknokent (MARTEK) and Istanbul Aydın University signed a "joint use" agreement between Dec. The "International Incubation Center" established at the Turkish Trade Center in Chicago, USA, is carried out in cooperation with TUBITAK and Istanbul Aydın University. Istanbul Aydın University, which carries its entrepreneurial activities to international dimensions, continues its studies at the international incubation center in Chicago.

Unesco Cultural Diploma, Management And Education Chair located within Istanbul Aydın University; UNESCO Cultural Diplomacy, Management and Education Chair (CDGE) established within Istanbul Aydın University in 2014; is a requirement in today's multicultural communities.

Political actors, international organizations, educational institutions and individuals have to find ways to reconcile the values and norms of different cultural groups in a given society in a fair way. In this context, the most urgent task of politics is to reflect cultural diversity in decision-making structures. Cultural diplomacy crosses national and cultural boundaries, identifies areas of strength and networks within cultures, and establishes international bridges and interactions. Cultural diplomacy; initiates or encourages the exchange of ideas, values, traditions and other cultural or identity elements that improve socio-cultural understanding by supporting national interests in a manner consistent with international peace and sustainability and establishing relations in this direction. Cultural Diplomacy, together with Education, can nurture a "Culture of Sustainability ".

The UNESCO Chair of Education for Sustainable Peace is the second UNESCO Chair established within Istanbul Aydın University in October 2016. In order to create a culture of peace, it aims to implement peace education programs, increase the awareness of women and young people from different cultures and groups on human rights issues and encourage them to establish a culture of peace. Within the framework of this aim, it aims to facilitate cooperation between internationally recognized researchers and faculty members, especially in the Balkans, the Middle East and Africa, and university faculty members in Turkey and researchers working in other higher education institutions, focusing on research, education, capacity-building and documentation activities to strengthen the culture of peace. Information meetings, trainings, seminars are organized by Istanbul Aydın University for researchers, students and stakeholders within the university regarding the areas of responsibility of TTPYO. In addition, studies are carried out with researchers at TTPYO university on the subjects of students applying to academic and industrial projects, matching their ideas with calls, reading the projects they have written and giving feedback.

In cooperation with Istanbul Aydın University and SODER Information Technologies, our cyber security center has launched job-guaranteed training programs. Along with the developing technology, the need to keep up with the changes brought by this technology has also arisen in the field of security. Now, in addition to conventional security, cyber security studies should also be at the forefront. The increasing need for cyber security specialists in Turkey in recent years has created a serious employment area. The main areas to be covered under the training plan are as follows:

Cyber security trainings that form the information systems infrastructure and have a wide infrastructure;

• Those who want to continue their studies in the field of information technologies with a cyber security perspective can receive training.

It offers a large complex to students who are considering studying in the field of health. The university; Faculty of Medicine, Faculty of Medicine Hospital, Faculty of Dentistry, Faculty of Dentistry Hospital (Decedaydin), Faculty of Health Sciences and Vocational School of Health Services and foundation universities are on their way to becoming the largest health education campus in Turkey.

Istanbul Aydın University Information Center provides services with a shelf capacity of 50,000 and a seating capacity of 900 people. Existing individual work desks and group workrooms can be used by reserving for certain hours. Our audio and visual collection consists of film archive, educational multimedia resources. The electronic open archive system of our institution was established for missions such as storing the intellectual accumulation made, opening it to the benefit of the scientific world and transferring knowledge to future generations and has been included in the national open archive system. Our library provides service on a 24/7 basis.
