Acıbadem University
Acıbadem University is a thematic university in the field of health sciences founded by Acıbadem Health and Education Foundation in 2007. The university, which carries the Acıbadem culture, which is formed with 25 years of experience and knowledge in health services, to higher education, educates health professionals who are well-equipped in their fields and open to continuous development with its strong academic staff and advanced technological infrastructure.
Acıbadem University makes a difference with its academic and social facilities with its LEED Gold (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Certified Kerem Aydınlar Campus with a closed area of 100,000 square metres on the Anatolian side of Istanbul.
The Clinical Simulation and Advanced Endoscopic-Robotic Surgery Training Centre - CASE, located within the university, is one of the most comprehensive medical training centres in the world with all its departments and technological infrastructure. The Centre holds the ‘Center of Excellence’ Certificate, which is awarded by the CAE Academy and held by only two medical training centres in the world. Accredited by the Network of Accredited Clinical Skills Centers of Europe (NASCE) and the Society for Simulation in Healthcare (SSH), the centre provides training before and after graduation.
Acıbadem University continues its education with 5 Faculties, 2 Vocational Schools, 4 Institutes and research centres where projects are carried out in many different fields.

Acıbadem Mehmet Ali Aydınlar University Library;
It provides all kinds of information resources that support the university's education and training activities, course contents and scientific researches to its users through purchase, donation and subscription. The requests of academicians, students and administrative staff are evaluated by the Vice Rector and Library Management in the development of the library collection and are included in the collection.
Acıbadem Mehmet Ali Aydınlar University is a young and thematic university in the field of Health Sciences. In this direction, the printed and electronic collection of the Library supports the academic programmes of the university and the publications are mainly in Health Sciences.
The National Library of Medicine (NLM) classification system is used for the materials on medicine and health sciences in the collection, and the classification system is used for the general collection.
Acıbadem Mehmet Ali Aydınlar University Atakent Hospital Library was opened in 2014 and Acıbadem Maslak Hospital Library was opened in 2015 under the Kerem Aydınlar Campus Central Library.

PROF.DR.ALAEDDIN AKÇASU COLLECTION
There are 1315 works in the collection. The collection includes mostly Turkish books in the fields of Language-Literature, Pharmacy, Science and History. Nearly 100 books in the collection consist of novels in English.
PROF.DR.VURAL SOLOK COLLECTION
The collection includes 330 books, 45 rare artefacts and 50 editions. The majority of the collection is on the subject of Urology, but also covers Science, Fine Arts, Philosophy and History. The works are available in Turkish, English and French.
